How to configure Outlook Express ?
This article will walk you through the process of configure outlook Express :-
To configure Microsoft Outlook Express to receive email, follow these steps:
1)Open Outlook Express, click on Tools and then choose Accounts.
2)Click on the Mail tab and then click on Add --> Mail.
3)Under Display name, type in the name that you would like to appear in the
from field of your outgoing messages.
4)Select POP3 or IMAP. In the "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server" field
enter "mail.domainname.com". In the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" field enter
"mail.domainname.com" (without quotes).
5)In the "Account name" field enter the full email address of an email account
you created in your control panel. In the "Password" field enter the password.
6) remove the check mark at the end " log on secure password authentication"
8) Click on the Properties button.
9)Click on the Servers tab.
10)Make sure there is a check mark in the box next to Remember password .(Clicking on it will put a check mark there if a check mark is not there)
11)Check mark the box next to My server requires authentication .
12)Click on the Settings button.
13)Click the Radio button that is located next to Use same settings as my incoming mail server. (Clicking on it will put a dot there)
14)Click on the Advanced tab.
Now your outlook is configured
